So, what’s your style?

Great question!

Here’s what I’ve broken it down to – As a full-time college goer my style ranges from homeless to ‘I had time to put together my outfit’. I’m the kind of person that wears the same clothes, the same colors 100 times. Some days, however, I like experimenting.

I live in a place where I’m not comfortable wearing revealing clothes or clothes that show a lot of skin. I take an auto, metro and a local bus on a daily basis along with a really heavy laptop bag, this means my outfit isn’t something I want to be carrying the weight of as well! So on most college days I’m in the very basic jeans and T-shirt. That’s why I prefer clothes that are functional over fashionable – mostly.

Something I’ve noticed about my style is that it heavily, HEAVILY depends on my mood, whether it’s the color or the amount of effort I put into an outfit.

Another important point is that I’m very petite but tall. This works out really well for me as it lets me fit into any size at any store. I sometimes dress to cover how thin I am but on most days that’s not the case. I love baggy clothes and random sizes.

Affordable – I described my style as ‘Affordable and Functional’. I don’t earn any money yet to spend it on all the clothes that I ‘want’ but I’m blessed with parents who let me indulge in clothes that I really like. I usually shop on a budget and don’t splurge on expensive clothes. I stick to the basic stores and find pieces I can pair with what I already have.

So here’s what you can expect from me – affordable, wearable, repeatable, everyday fashion!

This was one of those days I didn't feel like dressing up to college!
